Welcome to Our Adoption Blog

We're looking for you...are you looking for us?

Thank you for visiting our adoption blog. If you are pregnant and considering adoption, please take some time to get to know us.

We can't wait to adopt another child into our family. The joy of adoption came to us with our son, Dawson, and now we pray for that joy to come again. We have a completed home study for the USA (this means we are available for placement immediately) and hope to find a baby whose birth parent(s) know that we are the right match for them. We are excited to share our family with you and would love to get to know you better.

What Happened to June?

Ever feel like time has passed you by? I think that's what happened to June. Julie was out of town twice this month (a conference with the youth from church & camping with the teenage girls from church) and we had company visit for a week and suddenly it's June 28th and we're scratching our heads thinking what just happened.  So what else did we do????

We saw Toy Story 3 and loved it!

We visited the World of Coke when grandma and grandpa were here. David had to work but the rest of us had fun sampling the majority of the 64 flavors they had available. Some where good and some were super disgusting.

Dawson took this picture but covered part of the flash

Pool Fun

We are lovin' the pool with all this heat.  Dawson jumps in with and without his life vest, swims to the bottom to pick up torpedoes, and lets us throw him up in the air.  No fear of water here.

Packing Foam

I let him do it!  I've always wanted to distroy the packing foam so why not let Dawson enjoy himself.  It started with him stabbing into the foam with one of his Hotwheel cars and ended like this.  He loved it and he even helped clean it up.
